Welcome to Summit!

Summit Camps is a unique ministry that utilizes existing campgrounds for Youth Camps, Children’s Camps, and Retreats throughout the year and we always bring recreation and worship experiences like no other! We’re an intimate camp where you can actually know the camp pastor and worship leaders.

But we don’t just "do camp"
We allow opportunities for the Holy Spirit to change lives forever. Our goal is to reach students who are looking for purpose in their lives. We aren’t into numbers, temporary decisions or quick fixes but believe your students will be changed from the inside out. We work hard to create a Camp Theme and Schedule that is applicable to your youth group.

For the past 30 years we have proudly served churches from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas and we don’t plan to stop anytime soon.

So choose Summit Camps and encounter God with us as we celebrate our 30th year of camp ministry!

Summit Camps cancel camps for the summer of 2020 season

After much prayer and consideration, the Summit Board of Directors has decided to cancel camps for the 2020 summer season. This decision comes amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. "Cancelling camp just breaks our hearts as we always want to see more students and children come to Christ," says Darrell Haley, who leads the Summit Board of Directors. "We know some will be disappointed, as we are also."

The summer of 2020 would have marked Summit Camps' 30th year of camp. "We will celebrate our 30th year in 2021!" says Haley. During the 2021 camp season, Summit Camp plans to utilize its 2020 speakers, worship leaders, and theme, "Brave!" The directors are already working closely with the KBA and GCC campgrounds to finalize the 2021 dates for camp as soon as possible. Churches that had already registered for 2020 camps and submitted their camp deposit can either roll their deposit over to keep their spot for the 2021 camp season or request a refund from the Summit Camps office.

For the summer and fall of 2020, Summit Camps wants to help churches who decide to host their own camp, D-now, or retreat. "If we can help your ministry in any way," Haley says, "any weekend or day events that we can help with recreation or anything else, please let us know." Additionally, the Summit Board of Directors voted to make its annual Color Run/Walk a virtual event. Participants will join the virtual 5k Run/Walk, record their finish, and send the video to Summit. The registration fee will be $25, and all funds raised will go directly to missions.

Be watching Summit's website and social media for all the 2020 Virtual Color Run and 2021 Camp details. "Please know that we are praying for you and your ministries," says Haley. "Through this pandemic, Summit Camps will continue to focus on our mission to do anything, go anywhere, and try everything without compromising the Word of God, in order to see some come to salvation and others grow and mature in their relationship with Christ."
